Job Summary
The Data Scientist will play a crucial role in advancing our data analytics capabilities and contributing to upcoming machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) projects. S/he will be responsible for data analysis, quality assurance in ETL/EDW processes, and actively participating in ML/AI initiatives. Such as, development, deployment, and maintenance of machine learning (ML) models and systems.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis in ETL/EDW processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement logical checks to validate and enhance data quality.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate data within our software applications.
- Identify and implement measures to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
Machine Learning and AI Projects:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ML/AI projects, aligning with business objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and domain experts to integrate ML/AI solutions into our software products.
Data Modeling:
- Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques for data modeling and predictive analysis.
- Design and implement models to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
- Optimize models for accuracy, speed, and scalability.
- Select appropriate model architectures based on the problem at hand.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate data science models into our GRC software.
Research and Innovation:
- Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.
- Contribute to the research and development of innovative data-driven solutions.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation for data science models, algorithms, and analysis procedures.
- Ensure that documentation is accessible and comprehensible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 2+ experience in the related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, quality assurance, and data modeling.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
